September CS:GO Premier tournament without Gambit

A couple of days ago, another $1 m CS:GO tournament was announced to be held this year. ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 is scheduled for September. Each of 4 groups including 4 teams is given own competitive week within a month. Matches will be held on Fridays and Saturdays.

According to the group distribution given above, the recent world champion Gambit Gaming wasn’t invited. Since the ELEAGUE participants list was drawn in advance, the CS:GO teams world rate was not considered anyway.

Notwithstanding, there remains a slot in each team for those passed an online qualification. It remains unknown whether the champions will risk and take part as usual participants or decide to skip the event.
