Gambit representatives win Krakow Major even to their own surprise

The major CS:GO event of the latter half of 2017 was completed by a quite unexpected victory of Gambit Esports CIS club. Previously, the team has shown worthy results but never entered a top five on HLTV.org.

Daniil ‘Zeus’ Teslenko, the team captain, noted on his Vkontakte page that it was difficult even for him to believe in that victory. Nevertheless, such an impressive result at all stages of PGL Major Krakow shows that Gambit leadership is not for nothing.

By the way, the team includes eSports athlete Mikhail ‘Dosia’ Stolyarov from Russia. He enjoyed the privilege of becoming the first Russian participants to win the Major competition.

The team won half a million dollars.
