Virtus.pro won at ESL One Hamburg in Dota 2 major
The cybersport CIS team Virtus.pro won in the latest Dota 2 major at ESL One Hamburg. The team took down Team Secret in the grand final and won the first Major of the 2017/2018 season. The score was 2:0.
Thus, the team got $500 000 prize. Moreover, the captain of the winning team Alexei Solo Berezin got € 50 000 for purchasing a Mercedes-Benz car. Alexei was considered to be the most valuable player of the championship.
At ESL One Hamburg 2017, Virtus.pro beat Team Liquid and NewBee, who won The International in 2017.
Virtus.Pro now takes the lead in Pro Circuit rating table. The team has 750 points, which secures an invitation to The International 2018.
