SPbPU students won the student eSports league

The Russian eSports student league with the total fund of 7 000 000 RUB has come to an end. The students of Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University became winners. They achieved the best results in the overall figures in 5 disciplines:

• LoL;
• Dota 2;
• CS:GO;
• Hearthstone;
• FIFA 17.

eSportsmen from SPbPU who took the first place earned 3 000 000 RUB. Students from the Kuban State University won 1 500 000 RUB for the second place. The “bronze” holders - representatives of the Kazan Federal University – got 1 000 000 RUB.

The tournament was organized by the Federation of the computer sport in Russia which has recently received state accreditation.
