Gambit Esports club player defends his Russian Champion title

Cyber football player Andrey Guriev, aka Timon, who played for the Gambit Esports club and PFC CSKA, won the Russian 2017 championship. This way, he defended the title he got at the last year's All-Russian cyber football competition.

The award was 70000 rubles. Davlyat Sagitov, aka Shut, who got the second place, received 35000 rubles, while the bronze medalist Anton Yelkin received 15000 rubles.

As the champion himself stated, he was initially interested not in the tournament’s prize fund, but in the chance to prove his indisputable superiority in the discipline. Below is an interview with Andrey, prepared by the championship organizers.
