The European final of WESG 2017: the results of the Russian national teams

The European qualifying championships of World Electronic Sports Games 2017 in Dota 2 and CS:GO have come to their end. The Russian national teams have demonstrated a decent result becoming leaders in the Dota 2 final and women’s competitions in CS:GO. The CS:GO men’s team didn’t win the first place but managed to enter the world championship.
AntiHype, a Russian team in the Dota 2 tournament, gained the first place with $40 000. The second place went to the Greek mousesports - $20 000. Team Ukraine and UAshki appeared on 3-4 places with $6500 and $4000 correspondingly.
The eSports athletes from Russian Forces gained $10000 in the women’s CS:GO tournament. They were the only CIS representatives and saved the reputation of the region by getting the first place, a ticket to a grand final.
