The Expert Council of Gaming Industry created for the development of computer sports

On November 10, the Expert Council of Gaming Industry (ECGI) was officially announced, organized by representatives of Russian companies involved in video games development.

The main aim of the organization is the support of gaming and eSports markets in the CIS countries, attraction of new investors, conducting analytical researches and international recognition of the national industry sector. The Council will also regulate the issues related to cooperation with government institutions.

The ECGI members pay special attention to the improvement in the quality of gaming products produced in the CIS region and competence of industry human resources. They are planning to provide assistance not only to game developers and eSportsmen but also to programmers from related areas (for example, VR and AR).
Experts of the organization include representatives of such well-known companies as Wargaming, Nekki, Gaijin Entertainment, Nival, Riot Games CIS, and Mail.Ru Group.
