Cloud9 American club collected $2.8 million investments in less than 2 weeks
One has found out the official information that the US eSports organization, called Cloud9, is going to attract $3 million investments. Fund raising started on 11th November and anonymous investors put $2.8 million into eSports club by 23rd November.
This information was revealed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Cloud9 organization didn’t comment on this fact. There is also no information about conditions under which the club will obtain investments; whether one will sell a part of shares or the whole project is still unknown.
It is also unclear why Cloud9 team needs such a big sum. One suggests that it wants to participate in auction by Blizzard that is going to sell a limited amount of life-long subscription to the Overwatch League game.
